Between the years 1919 and 1931 the New York Giants baseball team issued uniquely designed sterling silver season passes to their season ticket holders and VIPs, all of which featured the recipient's name and pass number on the reverse. Today, those passes are highly prized by collectors, with complete sets found in only the most advanced collections. The offered pass was issued for the 1925 season. The pass (1.25x.75") pays homage to the club's four straight pennant-winning seasons and features an image of the Polo Grounds grandstand, with each of the pennant flags bearing, respectively, the years "1921," "1922," "1923," and "1924." The front lettering reads NY Giants - 1925 - Chas. A. Stoneham Pres." The reverse engraving features the pass number ("389") and the name of the recipient ("Ray Kelly"). Smaller engravings at the base of the reverse list the manufacturer ("Lambert Bros. N.Y.:) and the silver composition ("Sterling"). Light tarnishing on the front and reverse, otherwise it remains in Near Mint condition.
