New York Giants press pin issued for the 1924 World Series against the Washington Senators. This is a scarce 1920s World Series press pin and just the fourth example we have offered in the past twenty-five years. The pin, which is designed in the shape of an octagon, features a crossed-bats-and-ball motif on the front. The lettering, all in relief, reads "Press/1924/Polo Grounds." The lettering within the blue enamel bars reads "World Series Giants." Manufactured by Dieges & Clust, as noted on the original clasp. Threaded-post back. 1x1". Near Mint condition.
