A New York Mets jersey worn by All-Star pitcher Mike Scott during his 1980 rookie season. The front tail tag shows that the gray pullover style jersey is a size 42 with an additional inch of length. The collar tag reds 42-30-80-1 for the size, player number, year and set number. The garment shows nice signs of use with dirt staining and loose threading. Scott was traded to the Houston Astros in 1982 and would make 3 All-Star teams while with Houston and he was named the NL Cy Young Award winner in 1986. Scott retired following the 1991 season and would finish his career with 124 wins.
