Detroit Tigers ticket stub issued for a game against the Minnesota Twins on April 21, 1967, in which Rod Carew hit his first career Major League home run. Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example of this historic ticket stub listed in the PSA Population Report. Carew's first home run occurred in his seventh Major League game and came at the expense of Tigers pitcher Denny McLain. Carew hit a two-run home run off McLain in the top of the seventh inning, which also represented his sixth career hit. As noted by the PSA Population Report, this is a rare ticket and one that would be a welcome addition to any advanced Major League ticket or Rod Carew collection. 3.75x2.5".
