New York Yankees ticket stub issued for the club's first game of the season against the Milwaukee Brewers at Yankee Stadium on April 6, 1977, in which Reggie Jackson made his Yankees debut. Signed by Jackson in blue marker on the front. PSA has graded the signature GEM MINT 10 and ticket VG-EX 4. This is one of just three signed examples of this card graded at this level by PSA, with NONE graded higher. Jackson was George Steinbrenner's biggest free-agency acquisition to date and he began his Yankees career in an auspicious manner that day, singling twice in four at bats in the club's 3-0 win. The season, however, was anything but smooth for Jackson, who was mired in several controversies, including feuds with both team captain Thurman Munson and manager Billy Martin. Despite the drama, Jackson delivered for Steinbrenner when it counted, launching three home runs in Game 6 of the 1977 World Series to give the Yankees their first World Championship since 1962. 1.5x2.75".
