Displayed is a collection of nine (9) circa 1940s black & white photographs published by the Baseball Magazine Company, New York. The photographs are enlarged from original photos taken by famed sports photographer C. M. Conlon, of New York City. The photos measure approx. 8.4x10.8".

The photos are all posed, outdoor "action" shots: Joe DiMaggio, a very young DiMaggio in a batting follow through (note: The Yankee Clipper's last name is spelled "Di Maggio" in the machine printing on the photo); Louis Boudreau, batting follow through - a small mark in upper margin and a smug in right margin; Harry Danning, as a catcher; Martin Marion, jumping, as if for a high line drive; Robert Lemon, pitching; Donald Kollloway, as if jumping - three small stains in upper margin; Vernon Stephens, batting; John Buddy Lewis, running after a fly ball - the photo has some pronounced scratch marks, and a stain in upper left, some apparent glue residue lower right, very small piece of tape on upper right (back); and John Pesky, batting follow through. Nice vintage lot.
