1940-46 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed baseball run. The baseballs in this lot are in very good to excellent condition overall and are signed by Dodger teams from 1940 to 1946. Each ball has over 20 signatures, including Leo Durocher, Joe Medwick, Arky Vaughan, Ralph Branca, Dixie Walker, Billy Herman, Fred Fitzsimmons, Dolph Camilli, Cookie Lavagetto, Pete Reiser, Pee Wee Reese, Chuck Dressen, and others. Some of the signatures are most likely clubhouse versions. The 1940, 1943, 1944, 1945, and 1946 teams all signed an Official National League (Frick) ball. The 1941 team signed a Dodgers logo ball, and the 1942 team signed an Official Dixie Walker ball. Overall, the signatures rate 6-7/10.
