Displayed is a Dusty Baker signed San Francisco Giants equipment bag. Baker, an outfielder, played 19 Major League seasons: Atlanta Braves (1968-75), Los Angeles Dodgers (1976-88), San Francisco Giants (1984), Oakland Athletics (1985-86). The 2-time All-Star had a .278 career batting average, with 242 home runs. He also managed five teams, including the Giants (1993-2002) and the Houston Astros (2020-23), the 2022 World Champions. Baker won three pennants as a manager, and he was a 3-time NL Manager of the Year.
The offered signed equipment bag measures, approx. 13x27", with a height of approx. 12". The bag is black. "GIANTS" in white letters with orange trim is on each side. The "handles" of the bag are orange, with a black grip. A 4x6.25" pouch on the side contains a white card reading "Baker 12," hand-printed in black marker by an unknown hand. The top has a working zipper. It is unknown whether Baker used this bag as a player or as a manager. Using a sliver, fine tip marker, Baker signed the outside bottom of the equipment bag with a flowing, big and bold signature. The bag exhibits nice wear and yet is in very good condition.
