Presented is a 1930s Charles Conlon Type I black & white photo collection (3) with Pepper Martin, Paul Dean, and Don Padgett. Martin had a 13-year Major League career, all with the St. Louis Cardinals (1928, 1930-40 & '41). The right fielder was a 4-time All-Star who was a 3-time World Champion. Paul Dean, nicknamed "Daffy," was the brother of famed Dizzy Dean. Paul Dean won 19 games in each his first two seasons on the Cardinals, but hurt his arm and was never effective afterwards. Dom Padgett was a catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and three other National League teams. He batted a career .288. Each of the three photos measures 6.5x8.5". Charles Conlon was famous for his photographs of baseball players, and each of the photos exhibits remarkable clarity. The photos are in EXCELLENT condition.
