As noted in the text, this was the scene following Raschi's one-hit victory over the Detroit Tigers in the first game of a double header at Yankee Stadium. Mantle, Berra, and Collins each homered in the game, which the Yankees won by a score of 11-1. The Yankees also took the nightcap 12-2. An "International News Photo" stamp appears on the reverse, along with a "Jul 15 1952" date stamp and each of the respective players' names written in vintage blue ink. The photo (9x7") displays a heavy diagonal crease in the lower right corner, as well as several other light creases.
