A framed Detroit Tigers broadside from 1934. The piece, which measures 14x21" is enclosed in a 16x23" frame. The image shows a tiger crouching over a Detroit pennant and has the year, 1934, in the top right hand corner. The piece features several rips and tears and a piece of the bottom right hand corner is missing. 1934 was a terrific year for the Tigers as the team won 101 games and made it to that year's World Series where they lost in 7 games to the St. Louis Cardinals. Among the prominent players on that year's team were Hank Greenberg, Charlie Gehringer, Goose Goslin, Schoolboy Rowe, and player-manager Mickey Cochrane.
