A bat used by Washington Senators slugger Eddie Robinson, circa 1948-49. The 35" Louisville Slugger bat weighs 31.5 ounces shows nice signs of wear. The bat was later sent back to Hillerich and Bradsby to be used as a lathe bat. As a result, there are several markings on the bat from the company. Robinson played in the big league from 1942-57, making four All-Star teams and hitting 172 career home runs. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 100.
