Displayed is a lot of 12 MLB Sports Impressions porcelain figurines, with three different Hall of Fame sluggers portrayed on three different figurines. Six of the figurines (four of Ted Williams and two of Ernie Banks) are from the 1990s "Yesterday's Stars" Group B - Set I. The other six items are all of Dave Winfield of the MLB Sports Impressions Limited Edition Series. The four Ted Williams items are the 5th figurines of the series. They are approx. 5" in height and the base has a width of approx. 3.75". The Hall of Famer is depicted in a Boston Red Sox home uniform, following through at the end of his swing, his eyes looking toward the unseen right field seats. His jersey back shows "9." The base reads "TED WILLIAMS" and a miniature plaque on top of the base depicts a facsimile Ted Williams autograph. The two Ernie Banks figurines are 5.75" tall, including his upraised bat. The Hall of Famer is depicted in his Chicago Cubs home uniform in the 6th figurine of the Group B - Set I Series. The base is approx. 3.75" across, with a small plaque depicting a facsimile Banks autograph. A lower wooden base, measuring 4'3" across, has a plaque reading, "Sports Impressions." This lower wooden base is a separate, included piece that rests under the porcelain base. Banks is in his batting stance. His jersey back shows "14." One of the Banks figurine bats is broken off just above the figurine's hands. The broken part is included, and it may possibly be able to be re-attached with glue. The six Limited Edition Dave Winfield figurines have a height of approx. 7" and a width of approx. 8", including the extended bat at the end of the Hall of Famer's follow-through. Winfield is in a New York Yankee home uniform, with "31" on the back of his jersey. The porcelain base measures approx. 2.75x5", and a lower wooden platform base, a separate piece, measures 3.75x6". The porcelain base has a facsimile Winfield autograph, and the lower wooden base has a small plaque reading, "DAVE WINFIELD." The figurine has great detail, including a batting glove, wristband, and even the Winfield trademark thick mustache. One of the wooden lower bases has two of the one-half-inch rubber pads missing from underneath. A few of the wooden bases in the collection have small scratches, and some of the boxes have partial tears. All but one of the Banks figurines and one of the Winfield figurines come with a Sports Impressions COA. Overall, the figurines are in EXCELLENT condition.
