Presented is a Gary Sheffield multi-signed sheet with 50 signatures from the versatile slugger who played with eight Major League teams. Sheffield played in the Majors from 1988-2009. He played for the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, and New York Mets. Sheffield is from the Tampa area in Florida, and he grew up living with his uncle, star pitcher Dwight Gooden. With a strong arm and speed, Sheffield was usually an outfielder in the Major Leagues, but he also played shortstop, third base, and first base. He batted a career .292 with 509 home runs. The 9-time All-Star was a key contributor on the 1997 World Champion Florida Marlins. He won the NL batting crown in 1992 as a San Diego Padre, and he was a 5-time Silver Slugger, winning the award four times as an outfielder and once as a third baseman. Sheffield used a fine tip black marker to sign a neat, bold signature on fifty (50) segments on 10x15" very thick card stock. Each segment of the card stock measures 1x3". This multi-signed signature sheet comes from the same consignor who is offering the Mickey Mantle 99 autograph sheet in this same auction. The signatures and signature sheet are in EXCELLENT condition.
