Three tags are on the back interior hatband: Authentic Diamond Collection; New Era/the 5950 Pro model; SIZE 7 & 1/8/100% Wool. The back of the cap has an MLB logo. The number "31" is written on the underside of the bill, in black marker by an unknown hand. The cap has a red "button" on top and it exhibits light use, with sweat stains on the interior hatband. John Smoltz pitched in the Major Leagues for 21 seasons: Atlanta Braves (1988-99 & 2001-09), Boston Red Sox (2009), and St. Louis Cardinals (2009). Excelling as both a starter and closer, he had a 213-155 career record with a 3.33 ERA and 152 saves. The 8-time All-Star won both a Cy Young Award and a Rolaids Relief Award and was on the 1995 Atlanta Braves World Champions. The Smoltz multi-game worn cap is mainly navy blue, with a red bill and a white "A" on front. A red "button" is on top. On the underside of the bill is "29" in black marker written by an unknown hand. The back, interior hatband has three tags: MLB Authentic Collection; New ERA Since 1920; Original 7 & 3/8. The cap has a flag emblem on the left side and an MLB logo at the outside back. The cap shows very light use.
