The lot will be accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who has assigned the bat a grade of Game Used 9. Sheffield broke into the big leagues in 1988 and played for several franchises over his 22-year career. Famed for his incredible bat speed, Sheffield made 9 All-Star teams and won 5 Silver Slugger Awards. The third baseman and outfielder retired following the 2009 season, finishing with a .292 career batting average and 509 career home runs.
