Spalding Official National League (Heydler) baseball produced between the years 1919-24. Together with its original box. Although Heydler's stamped facsimile signature does not appear on a side panel, the stampings clearly date it to the 1919-24 manufacturing period and the box features Heydler's endorsement on the paper seal. The ball displays light soiling and is otherwise in Near Mint condition, with bold stampings. The box displays several small-to-medium tears, as well as minor creases. An outstanding example of this scarce early National League Baseball that bridges the gap between the "dead ball" and "lively ball" eras.
