A baseball signed by Joe DiMaggio during the early 1940s. The Official Major League Baseball (Harridge) is signed on the sweet spot in ink by the legendary New York Yankee. The ball is in excellent to mint condition and DiMaggio's signature would rate out as an 8 out of 10. The lot will include a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DSA verifying the autograph. DiMaggio would have one of his finest seasons in 1941, going on a legendary 56-game hit streak. This ball, dating back to that time period, represents one of the earliest and nicest Joe DiMaggio-signed balls known to the hobby.
