Official American League (Brown) baseball signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Whitey Ford across the sweet spot. What makes this ball special is that Ford has also added his famous nickname, "Chairman of the Board," below his name. While we have seen other examples bearing his nickname, they are the exception rather than the rule, making this both a scarce and desirable Ford single. The signature and inscription each grade 7/10. The ball displays a tiny area of age toning on a side panel and is otherwise in Near Mint condition.
