Displayed is one of the rarest of Bruce's post-Steel Mill posters, one for a Dec. 17, 1971, Bruce Springsteen Band at concert poster promoting the band's appearance at "The Ledge" on the Rutgers Campus in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The black & white broadside (17.5x22.5") is rare because it is the only Springsteen poster from 1971-72 to have a photo. In addition to Springsteen, the photo includes future "E Street Band" members: Steve Van Zandt (guitar), Garry Tallent (bass), and Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez (drums). The top of the poster reads, "The Bruce Springsteen Band in conjunction with Southern Conspiracy and Power House." Springsteen would release Greetings from Asbury Park N.J., and the album garnered critical acclaim, but not immense sales, and then in 1975, Bruce's album, Born to Run, made him an international star. Springsteen is still going strong with his E Street Band, and this poster, from over five decades ago, is in EXCELLENT condition and it has immense vintage appeal.
