A purple Minnesota Vikings jersey worn by franchise icon Mick Tinglehoff. The front tail tag shows that the jersey was made by Sand Knit and is a size 50. The garment shows very nice wear with loose threads and team repairs. The jersey also features an armband on the left sleeve which would date the jersey circa 1978. The team wore the armbands in honor of assistant coach Jocko Nelson during that season. Tinglehoff signed the jersey on the reverse side, inscribing, "Game Used" and "6 X Pro Bowls." The Viking center spent his entire 17-year career in Minnesota. In addition to his 6 Pro Bowls, he holds the record for most consecutive starts by an offensive lineman with 240. Tinglehoff was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
