Impressive collection of seven awards given to former MVP and College Football Hall of Famer Roman Gabriel. The two most striking awards are in the form of a metallic football mounted upon a wooden base. The first bears an engraved plaque that reads "Top Competitor Award/Roman Gabriel/L. A. Rams vs. Cleveland Browns/12-12-65/Presented By/Allied Chemical Corporation" (12x6x14"). The engraved plaque on the second reads "Bakers Club/Of Philadelphia/Award/Philadelphia Eagles/Most Valuable/Offensive Player 1973/Roman Gabriel" (6.5x6.5x15").

Two of the remaining five awards, both of which feature a representation of a football helmet on a wooden plaque, are NFL "Golden Helmet" awards. One was presented to Gabriel in recognition of his being named NFL "Player of the Week" (no year is listed; 19.5x12"). The other is lettered "1968/Special Golden Helmet Award/Pro Bowl Football Game/Roman Gabriel/West All Stars" (14x16").

The remaining three awards, all in the form of plaques, are a 1974 Men's Club of Beth Tikvah - B'nai Jeshurun award for community service (11x15"), a 1967 Outstanding Quarterback Award given by the Ontario Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (12.5x9"), and 1975 Man of the Year Award, presented by Dodge (11x13).
