Presented is a 1936 Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings team-signed photograph with 20+ signatures, including those of coaches and other-than-playing personnel. The photo is 8x10 inches and original to 1936. It is mounted on cardboard. The Red Wings' home arena was the Detroit Olympia. Detroit had a regular season record of 24-16-8 in 1935-36, for first place in the American Division. In the playoffs, the Red Wings defeated the Montreal Maroons 3-0 in games in the NHL's Semi-Finals and Detroit defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 in games in the Stanley Cup Finals. Center Marty Barry led the Red Wings in regular season scoring, with 21 goals and 19 assists for 40 points. Left wing John Sorrell led the team's playoff scoring with 7 points, with 3 goals and 4 assists. Detroit Goalie Normie Smith was spectacular in the Semi-Final playoff game against the Montreal Maroons on March 24, 1936, as he shut out Montreal 1-0 in the longest playoff game in NHL history, lasting six overtimes and a game time of 176 minutes and 30 seconds. Mud Bruneteau scored the winning goal for the Red Wings.
