A white Pittsburgh Steelers jersey worn by linebacker Earl Holmes during the 2001 season. The jersey has a collar tag that reads "01-44" and the front tail tag features an image of a Steelers helmet and shows that the garment is a size 44 made by Reebok. The item shows extensive signs of use with several marks near the shoulders and neck and multiple team repairs on the sleeves. The jersey is also accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Steelers. Holmes, who the Pittsburgh faithful nicknamed "The Hitman," was a fourth round pick by the Steelers in 1996 and he played with the team until 2001. He became a coach after his career, leading his alma mater, Florida A&M from 2012-14.
