A set of practice shorts, football gloves, and a beanie-style hat worn by Tom Brady circa 2001. The Adidas shorts are a size XL, with the Patriots logo on the front left leg and Brady's number 12 on the front right leg. They show nice use with fading on the number. The gloves, made by Reebok are black with the NFL logo added to the inside wrist. The navy beanie, made by Adidas, features the Patriots logo on the front side and the NFL logo on the reverse. The items were gifted directly from Brady to the collector consigning them in this auction. Drafted in 2000, Brady would work his way up the Patriots depth chart, and by 2001, he was the backup to starter Drew Bledsoe. After an injury to Bledsoe, Brady would take the reins of the team, leading them to a victory in Super Bowl XXXVI. That would be the first of seven Super Bowl Championships for the quarterback who would emerge as the greatest of all time. This is a rare opportunity to own pieces of memorabilia from Brady's early days with the Pats.
