Simply "Miraculous" game-issued stick was ready for use by 1980 Olympic Team USA goaltending hero Jim Craig, and is surrounded by 23 autographs from that very Miracle on Ice squad. The stick is unused though game-ready, with CCM logo across the paddle, CRAIG is stamped on the shaft with number 30 written above in black marker, and Fabrique au Canada/Made in Canada stamp at the top of the shaft. Not a replica or souvenir edition, this is one of Craig's sticks that he kept as a backup during the 1980 Olympic games - it was right there with the team, in the locker room during that most unlikely run. The signatures on the stick were acquired by Craig, which he then took home with him, and included are: Herb Brooks, McClanahan, Ramsey, Harrington, Christian, Johnson, Kessel, Christoff, Morrow, Verchota, O’Callahan, Strelow, Schneider, Broten, Baker, Janaszak, Silk, Strobel, Pavelich, Smith, Suter, Patrick, Jasinski, Eruzione. Few images have been embedded in the American sports psyche to match Jim Craig's post-game celebration, after vanquishing the powerhouse Team USSR and proceeding to beat Finland to secure the Gold, in which his shoulder was draped with an American flag while searching feverishly for his father. This very stick came from the personal collection of Jim Craig and is accompanied by his signed Letter of Authenticity.
