1999-2000 Dominik Hasek Buffalo Sabres game used goalie stick shows outstanding wear from one of the NHL's greatest netminders of all time. Louisville TPS Kevlar Lite model GS2 stick is curved for a left-handed shot and has original white cloth tape on the blade and and a large bubble of tape at the butt end. HASEK is stamped in black on the shaft just above the paddle, with 2071C stamped on the opposite side. Written in black Sharpie on the white paddle is "Oct. 29/1999 at Buffalo 3, Florida 2" - significant in that the future Hall of Famer suffered a torn groin late in that game (and did not get the decision in the Sabres' overtime win), which sidelined him for three months. The Dominator won an amazing six Vezina Trophy awards as the NHL's top goalie in an 8-year span, with the injury suffered in this game accounting for one of the two seasons which interrupted the run. Great use includes puck marks, chips, and paint transfers, indicating that it may have been used in games before the noted date as well.
