1907 PC765 A. C. Dietsche Detroit Tigers Postcard Ty Cobb (batting). Graded FR 1.5 by SGC. This is one of two Ty Cobb cards featured in the 1907-09 A. C. Dietsche postcard issue, with the other depicting him in a fielding pose. Issued in 1907, the Dietsche Ty Cobb postcard has always been regarded as one of Cobb's true rookie issues and one that has long been highly prized by collectors. The offered example is new to the hobby and recently surfaced among a small group of cards and baseball memorabilia belonging to a long-time Detroit collector. The card, which is neither addressed nor postally used, displays minor diagonal creases in the upper and lower left corners, as well as the imprint of the name "Jack" at the base, between Cobb's legs.
