Ken Griffey, Sr., Cincinnati Reds game used bat model S216 dating from the 1974-75 time period, Griff's rookie era. Very light use is evident with some bat rack paint transfers and general wear; weighs 31oz and measures 33.8". Number 30 is written on the knob in black marker, model number S216 is stamped on the knob, and two small holes have been placed on one side - one at the handle and the other on the barrel - from previous display. Griffey, Sr., became a key cog in the Big Red Machine; though he wasn't feared as a power hitter, he used the fast Riverfront Stadium turf to perfection, batting .303 over his 12 seasons in Cincy including a career-high .336 in the 1976 Championship season.
