Offered is a 1960s complete uniform worn by Mary Parsons of the All-American Red Heads. The All-American Red Heads were the first women's professional basketball team. The team played from 1936 to 1986 and barnstormed across the United States. The red, white, and blue flag-themed uniform includes a jersey with a nameplate on the back with Parsons's number 5 in white below her name, shorts with belt, and a pair of stirrup-styled red and white striped socks with three stars on each. One of the socks has an "M" written on the laundry tag on the inside of the sock. The jersey is missing a bottom button. The uniform shows heavy use with some light stains and pilling evident throughout. One of the pioneer leagues in women's basketball, the team is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame induction class of 2012.
