Circa 1967-70 Kentucky Wildcats jersey worn by basketball Hall of Famer Dan Issel. The white number 44 jersey was worn by the center over multiple seasons and shows significant wear with some staining visible. The size 48 item has a front tag that shows it was made by Hunt's Athletic Goods Co. of Mayfield, Kentucky. The garment has also been signed by Issel in black marker under the number 44 on the jersey's front. Issel was an iconic player during his college career, playing for Coach Adolph Rupp and a consensus First-Team All-American in 1970. A 7-time All-Star during his time in the ABA and NBA, the center/power forward was inducted into both the College Basketball Hall of Fame and the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Dan Issel is the University of Kentucky’s all time leading scorer and he did it just 3 seasons. Issel averaged over 25 points per game for his career, which saw him score 2,138 points for Kentucky.
