1995 NBA All-Star Game program signed on the interior by eight participating players, plus two members of the "Legends Classic" and an assistant coach. The highlight is the signature of rookie sensation Michael Jordan, who was making his first of an eventual fourteen All-Star Game appearances. Jordan has signed the program in black ink (grading 9/10) next to his photo, with the signature contrasting perfectly against the blank white space. (Please note that based upon the signature style, it appears that Jordan signed this program sometime during the late 1980s/early 1990s, not in 1985.) The signatures of the other seven NBA All Stars are those of Isiah Thomas, Sydney Moncrief, Bernard King, Robert Parish, Jack Sikma, Akeem Olajuwon, and Rolando Blackman. Additional signatures are those of Legends Classic participants Tommy Heinsohn and Walt Frazier, and Chris Ford (asst. coach; East team). The signatures, scripted in a variety of inks, grade 8/10 on average, with all appearing either on or next to the player's respective photo.
It is ironic that Jordan's photo and bio appears on the same page with those of Isiah Thomas. While the story may be apocryphal, it was rumored that Thomas was behind the "freeze out" of Jordan during the game, whereby the more established stars refused to pass him the ball, feeling he had to wait his turn before joining their ranks. Whether it is true or not is up for debate, but what is true is that Jordan's seven points in the game marked his lowest point total ever in an All-Star Game. The program (8.25x11") has been neatly scored in ink and is in Near Mint condition. Full LOA from PSA.
