Official American League (Johnson) baseball signed by New York Yankees Hall of Fame sluggers Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Ruth's signature occupies its usual spot on the sweet spot, with Gehrig's signature located on the panel directly to the left. Each signature has been scripted in black fountain pen and grades 4/10. This ball dates to the narrow two-year manufacturing period 1926-1927 and, presumably, was signed by the duo during that period. Ruth and Gehrig signed baseballs have always been the most highly prized of all dual-signed balls, and the fact that this ball possibly dates to the historic 1927 season makes it all the more desirable. The ball displays light toning and abrasions throughout, but the manufacturer's stampings remain bold. Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Full LOA from PSA.
