Presented are two bank checks, each signed by a Baseball Hall of Famer - Eppa Rixey and Frankie Frisch. 1) Eppa Rixey: check measures 3x8.2". It is written on the Provident Savings Bank and Trust Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. Using blue fountain pen ink, Rixey wrote the check to "the University Club" in the amount of $58.65. Rixey neatly signed as "Eppa Rixey Jr." and he dated the check as 6-2-1955. 2) Frankie Frisch signed check measures 2.75x 6". It is made out to "Samuel Cockburn & Sons" in the amount of $148.40. Both Ada E. Frisch (Frisch's wife) and Frank Frisch are machine-printed on the check, dated May 8, 1971. Rixey and Frisch, as National Leaguers, were frequent opponents, but in this offering, they are paired, with the offering presenting signatures from two Hall of Famers.
