Rare 1927 ticket stub from Game 3 between the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates. Purple stub measures 2.25x4.25" and shows very slight paper loss at the left edge, and the perforation, though the tear is mostly clean. Print remains bold and features the first game played at Yankee Stadium in the series, as Babe Ruth's 9th World Series homer capped a late rally and the Bronx Bombers pulled away for an 8-1 victory, giving them a 3-0 series lead in an eventual sweep. Game was played on October 7, stub is encapsulated by PSA and graded STUB FR 1.5, one of fewer than 40 examples submitted to PSA.
