Since the original stadium opened over a century ago, Yankee Stadium has flown flags atop its famous frieze. From the 1950s until 1973, when the ballpark began its massive remodeling, this Burgess-style banner flapped in the Bronx wind. Measuring roughly 92x57", the gray banner with navy blue NEW YORK lettering comes with a Yankees LOA and typed letter detailing the flag's history. Flew over stadium during Dimaggio and Mantle era. Nice condition with wear on tips.
