Philadelphia Phillies road jersey worn by relief pitcher Ron Schueler during the 1976 season. The blue knit zipper-front jersey features the club's "P" logo on the left breast and the number 37 on the right breast and reverse. "Schueler" is lettered upon a blue nameplate on the reverse, directly above the number. All letters and numerals are applied in maroon on white tackle twill. A National League Centennial patch appears on the right sleeve, while a Philadelphia Bicentennial patch adorns the left sleeve. The name "Schueler" is chain-stitched in black upon a blue strip tag in the collar. Located on the left front tail are a Wilson 46 label and the size, year, and set number ("46 76 Set 1") chain-stitched in black upon a blue strip tag. The jersey is original as issued and displays moderate-to-heavy wear. 1976 marked Schueler's third and final season with the Philadelphia Phillies. Appearing in 35 games, Schueler recorded a record of 1-0 with 3 saves. Collectors have always placed a premium on Bicentennial jerseys and bats and this is an outstanding all-original example.
