This Gorgeous Joe Louis Clock is approximately 13.25" tall and weighs 10.5 lbs. This clock features the fantastic image of Joe Louis cast in solid brass with a 4-inch clock in the center, atop a wooden base that measures approximately 9.5x5x1.5". A plaque on the wooden base has been engraved to read, "Joe Louis BROWN BOMBER." The ornate brass figure features laurel leaves and boxing gloves and reads "JOE LOUIS WORLD CHAMPION" in relief. Clock is in working condition with an AC plug. Unlike the original 1940-50s version, later versions were made with a lighter metal material. The one offered here is the scarcer variation from the 1940s-50s. The one offered here is much scarcer and is solid brass. It is in Near Mint condition.
