Mike Trout seems to be on the way to eventual enshrinement at Cooperstown. Although slowed by injuries in recent years, at 31 years of age, he still appears to have plenty of baseball left in him. Presented is a pair of Mike Trout Los Angeles Angels game used batting gloves. A center fielder, Trout has played all of his 13-year Major League career with the Angels. He has a career batting average of .301, with 368 home runs, 940 RBIs, 1,140 runs, and 206 steals. He has a terrific career OPS of .994. He is an 11-time AL All-Star. The Nike gloves are white, with red trim. A red Mike swoosh is on each glove and "J XDA" tag is affixed to each wristband. A Nike manufacturer's tag in each glove shows that the glove is 45% sheepskin leather, 30% polyester, 14% neoprene, and 11% nylon, and the tag also shows the gloves to be size XXL. On the wristband of each glove is 27, (Trout's uniform number) in white numerals. The gloves show great wear: pine tar and dirt show in the palm and fingers of both gloves, yet overall, the gloves are in EXCELLENT condition. The gloves were obtained by a former Orioles employee at Camden Yards.
