Pair of gold football cleats worn by Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams in a game against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field on November 1, 2020, in which Adams caught three touchdown passes. Adams has personally attested to their game-used status by inscribing each cleat "Davante Adams 17/Game Used 2020" in black marker (grading 9/10) on the front. Additionally, the cleats are accompanied by a one-page typed-signed LOA from Adams. Although Adams simply refers to their use during the 2020 season, Lelands was able to photo-match the cleats to the referenced game against the Vikings on November 1st.
As noted by Adams in his letter, these Nike "Jordan 10" cleats were specially produced and tailored to his specifications and each bears his uniform number 17 embroidered in green and white on the side of each shoe. Additionally, Adams' initials and uniform number, "DA 17" are embroidered on a small patch affixed to the interior tongue, and his name appears on the manufacturer's label. The cleats (size 13) display moderate wear.
Adams accounted for all three Packers' touchdowns in Green Bay's 28-22 loss to the Vikings that day. Adams opened the scoring with a five-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. His second touchdown pass, a one-yard grab in the second quarter gave the Packers a 14-7 lead. Adams closed out the scoring in the game with a seven-yard touchdown pass with 2:42 left in the fourth quarter. For the game, Adams recorded 7 receptions for 53 yards. 2020 marked another banner year for the three-time First Team All-Pro First receiver, as Adams finished the season with 115 receptions, 1,374 receiving yards, and both a league and career-high 18 touchdown receptions.
