Harrison has personally attested to their game-used status by inscribing the right-foot cleat "James Harrison 92/2016 Game Used/10-9-16 vs. Jets" in silver paint pen (grading 9/10). Harrison has also provided a one-page typed-signed LOA in which he further attests to their provenance. Each cleat (size 13E) displays use, including a few light scuffs.
Harrison recorded 2 combined tackles in the Steelers dominating 31-13 victory over the New York Jets on October 9, 2016. For the season, Harrison recorded 53 combined tackles and 5 sacks to help lead the Steelers to an 11-5 record and a first-place finish in the AFC North. A perennial Pro Bowler, Harrison retired after the 2017 season with 811 combined tackles and 84.5 sacks.
