Collection of six vintage duplicate film negatives, each picturing Babe Ruth. 1) Ruth, as a member of the Boston Braves, posing with Lou Gehrig. 2) Ruth, as a coach with the Brooklyn Dodgers, tipping his cap to the crowd at Ebbets Field in 1938 (1938 was the only season in which Ruth was a member of the Dodgers' coaching staff). 3) Ruth taking batting practice as coach of the Dodgers (part of Ruth's job as a coach with the Dodgers was to take pregame batting practice to help draw crowds). 4) Ruth, as a coach with the Dodgers, posing with former Yankees teammate and current Dodgers shortstop Leo Durocher at Ebbets Field. 5) Ruth posing with Christy Walsh and other gentlemen at an awards presentation that appears to be taking place on the grounds of the 1939 New York World's Fair. 6) Ruth and his wife Claire posing together next to his Lincoln Continental, circa 1948. All the negatives measure 5x4" and are in Excellent condition overall. Each is accompanied by a small positive photo of the respective image printed on paper.
