"The Big Hurt" was his nickname, and Hall of Famer Frank Thomas put the big hurt on American League teams for 19 seasons. Displayed is a pair of Frank Thomas circa 1995 Chicago White Sox game worn wristbands. Thomas was a first baseman and designated hitter who played for the White Sox (1990-2005) Oakland Athletics (2006 & 2008) and Toronto Blue Jays (2007-08). A terrific hitter for both power and average, Thomas is the only Major League player in history to have accomplished the following for seven consecutive years (1990-2005): At least a .300 batting average, 100 RBIs, 100 runs, 100 walks, and at least 20 home runs. Thomas was a 2-time AL MVP, a 4-time Silver Slugger, a 5-time All-Star, and the 1997 AL batting champion. The Reebok wristbands are black, with "Reebok" in white lettering and the logo in black and red. The wristbands show use, and each wristband has the "Reebok" name and logo. The wristbands are circa 1995, a season in which Thomas batted .308, with 40 home runs and 111 RBIs. The wristbands come with a COA from Coast to Coast Sportscards and Memorabilia, dated July 20, 1995, and signed by Frank Thomas in blue ink from a ballpoint pen.
