Circa 1968 Frank Robinson Baltimore Orioles game used bat originates from the collection of Louis Kendrick, who collected during the 1960s-70s and obtained all of his items directly from the players and teams. H&B model R161 is uncracked and shows moderate use with blue and green paint transfers from being taken in and out of the bat rack as well as some nice ball marks on the barrel. Model number is engraved on the knob of this beauty, which measures 34.75" in length and weighs 34.5 ounces. Frank's Hall of Fame career was so much more than his 586 lifetime homers and 14 All-Star Game appearances, as he is the only player to win MVP honors in both the National and American Leagues, and he became Major League Baseball's first Black manager, being hired as player-manager for the Cleveland Indians in 1975.
