One of hockey's last great old barns, Chicago Stadium served as hosts to the Black Hawks from 1929 until its closing in 1994. This piece of plexiglass was removed after the building's demolition in 1995 and measures roughly 16x7" and 0.5" thick. Engraved plate embedded on the piece reads, "Genuine Box Seat from Chicago Stadium, Chicago Illinois" below which is a list of occupants including the Hawks, Chicago Bulls, and the 1932 NFL title game. Known as the "Madhouse on Madison," its most distinctive features were a magnificent, blaring pipe organ, and the NHL's last analog scoreboard clock - with actual minute and second hands. Great piece from an Original Six landmark. Note that this piece is irregularly-shaped and has a couple of sharp edges, please handle with care.
