1959 Western Hockey League All-Star trophy awarded to Bev Bentley of the famous Bentley family. Marble base measures 3x3", with a smaller 2x2x2" marble pedestal above which sets a hockey player. Plate on the smaller pedestal is engraved, "W.H.L. All-Star 1959 - Bev Bentley." As hockey All-Star games are generally played in the second half of the season, this should date from the 1958-59 season, during which the goalie posted a record of 35-26-3 with a 3.19 goals against average for the Seattle Totems. His father, Roy, and uncles Reg, Doug, and Max all played in the National Hockey League. Originates directly from Bentley.
