This collection of Larry Holmes items comes with the special provenance of having been obtained directly from Larry Holmes. The highlight of the group is a pair of Larry Holmes fight gloves that have been encased in a silver metal, similar to the bronzing process (the specific fight in which they were used is not known). Each glove has been signed in black Sharpie (grading 9/10) on the back by Larry Holmes. The remaining items are as follows: 1) Silver-colored presentation tray (14.5x10.25") featuring the official seal of the United States House of Representatives in the center. The plaque affixed to the rim reads "To The Champ/With Admiration and Affection/Don Ritter. M.C." (Donald Ritter was a Pennsylvania congressman from Larry Holmes' district in Pennsylvania). The tray displays several scratches on the front. 2) 8x10" photo of Larry Holmes posing with Arnold Palmer, inscribed in black Sharpie (10/10) "To Larry Holmes/Best Wishes/Arnold Palmer." 3-7) Five 8x10" color photos, each signed in black Sharpie (averaging 9/10) by Larry Holmes, including one of Holmes posing with Sugar Ray Leonard. 8-10) Three smaller sized photos (3.5x4.25 to 5x7") signed by Larry Holmes. 11-21) Eleven unsigned photos (various sizes). Nine picture Holmes, while the others are presumably family members. All the photos are in Excellent to Mint condition overall.
