Displayed is a 2019 NLDS Freddie Freeman Atlanta Braves polyester game worn away jersey. Freeman, now playing in his second season for the Los Angeles Dodgers after a dozen seasons with Atlanta, is a National League MVP, a 2021 World Champion, a 3-time Silver Slugger winner, a 7-time All-Star, and the winner of a Gold Glove. At slightly past the midway mark in the 2023 season, Freeman has a lifetime Major League batting average of .300, with 309 home runs. In the National League Division Series in 2019, when Freeman wore the offered jersey in Game 4, the 6'5" first sacker batted third for Atlanta and was hitless in five at bats against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards won Game 4 of the Series by a 5-4 margin and won Game 5 to win the Series. The navy-blue polyester jersey shows "Atlanta" scripted across the chest in red letters with white trim, and under the team's name is a red, gold and navy-blue tomahawk, with white trim. On the right sleeve is a Major League Baseball logo tag, reading POSTSEASON 2019. Under the above tag is an MLB 150 tag, for baseball's 150th Anniversary. Down the front are six navy-blue buttons. On the lower left outside tail is a Majestic/MLB Authentic manufacturer's tag showing size 46 and a hologram (#JD808673). Near the bottom lower outside right tail is another Majestic/MLB Authentic manufacturer's tag, which reads, "AWAY 2019 46T S2." The back of the collar has an MLB tag. On the top of the back is FREEMAN, sewn-on in white block letters. Under the player's name is 5, sewn-on as a red numeral with white trim. On the lower left inside seem are two tags: One reads 'Taper" and the other tag reads, in part, "100% Polyester" and handwritten by an unknown hand on the marker is "5-24/10-7." The jersey shows minimal wear, and it may someday become a NLDS game used jersey of a Hall of Famer.
