Vintage game used hockey stick from early in the career of Hall of Fame defenseman Brad Park. Sher-Wood stick is left-handed, with "2 Park B." stamped on the shaft and shows outstanding use throughout. Comes with original tape on butt end and blade; as was common of the era, the fiberglass coating on the blade has largely worn away, leaving a chip of exposed wood at the tip of the blade. Park started his career with the New York Rangers (from which this stick dates) and with his exceptional skill both offensively and defensively, was considered by most to be the second-best defenseman of his era. Unfortunately, he was overshadowed by the immortal Bobby Orr, and in his 7th NHL season he was traded to the Boston Bruins where he made two trips to the Stanley Cup finals, though he never did get to lift the hardware.
