Rare game used World Hockey Association jersey from Cleveland Crusaders forward Russ Walker, circa 1974. White jersey has Rawlings size 40 collar tag with drawstring neck and has purple and black accents. Crusaders crest logo is across the chest, number 28 is on sleeves and back in purple tackle twill, name is sewn on in individual letters above the rear number. Great use shown includes at least one team repair, some loose threads at the numbers, dasher board paint transfers, and all-around wear. As the WHA only existed from 1972-79, and the Crusaders only played four seasons, WHA gear of any type is hard to come by and this Cleveland jersey is a scarcity in its own right. Walker played for three seasons with the Crusaders before jumping to a brief stint with the NHL's Los Angeles Kings.
